Biography
Armond R. Towns is Associate Professor of Africana Studies at Williams College in Williamstown, MA. His research and teaching focuses on the relationship between media, communication, race, blackness, and history. He is the author of On Black Media Philosophy (University of California Press, 2022). He is also the cofounder and inaugural editor of the new journal Communication and Race, published by Taylor and Francis.
